Geo Exhibition (Geo-ten) 2025

Geo Exhibition 2025 (Geo-ten) was held on Wednesday, July 2, at Otemachi Mitsui Hall—a venue that combined Otemachi, Mitsui Hall, and a view of the Imperial Palace, giving the event an especially polished and prestigious atmosphere.
I have attended the exhibition since 2023, when the in-person event resumed after the COVID-19 pandemic. The venue has changed every year since then, and my impression is that this is simply because attendance keeps growing and each year’s venue becomes too small by the following year.
The organizers had clearly put thought into the layout to keep people moving smoothly through the venue, but with so many visitors, even that became difficult as the day went on. According to the final figure announced by the organizers, the event welcomed 1,713 visitors, excluding exhibitors and staff.

We exhibited as Code for History. This time, in addition to our usual Code for History members, we were joined at the booth by members of M.T. Planning Co., Ltd., with whom we are currently working on the Plats project.
Some of us were strong on the technical side, while others were especially good at explaining things and talking with visitors. Everyone brought different strengths to the booth, which was very reassuring.
There was hardly a break in the flow of visitors throughout the day. As a result, we were unable to attend presentations by other exhibitors or spend much time visiting their booths ourselves.
Still, we were very pleased that several conversations at our booth appeared likely to develop into actual business opportunities.
